From 30 July to 7 August 2025, I provided cycle servicing and maintenance as a qualified MIAS Level 3 Mechanic, successfully raising £550 for the Royal Signals Charity (RSC).
As a member of the Royal Signals Enduro Team, I have personally benefited from the RSC’s support, which includes funding for race tickets, team jerseys, and administrative costs. This campaign was my way of giving back to the charity in recognition of its contributions to our team and the wider community.
The initiative directly benefited over 25 Service Personnel (SPs) on camp, many of whom rely on cycling as a key mode of transportation.
Looking ahead, I plan to organise a cycle maintenance course to qualify more SPs within the regiment, enabling them to perform basic repairs and upkeep. Additionally, I aim to expand this campaign to support other charitable causes, continuing to promote a culture of giving back while encouraging cycling as a sport and sustainable transport option.
This campaign has been a rewarding experience, and I look forward to building on its success to further support the RSC and other worthy causes.
