The festival which supports the Royal Signals Charity is getting bigger and better year on year.
2025 saw the numbers of attendees increasing to approximately 350 with additional entertainment also being included as well as the music. This year’s festival saw 8 live bands providing the main entertainment for the weekend along with an 80’s themed fancy-dress night that was definitely one to remember. White Dragon Archery was also on the activities agenda as were the display of former White Helmet Triumph motorcycles. Additional displays were also on hand by Royal Signals Veterans who helped to sponsor the event such as All Arms PRI and Leisure Plus Direct.
The raffles held during the weekend were very impressive with prizes including holiday rentals in South Africa, Indonesia and St Lucia along with various breaks in the UK. Four individuals were also treated to a 30-minute flight around the area which was very kindly donated.
Planning for 2026 is already underway and if this year is anything to go by, you will not want to miss it. Tickets can be purchased direct at www.summer-sales.org. There is also an early bird discount available until the end of October.
