***DID YOU KNOW - 211 Grants this year alone***

The Royal Signals Charity has made 211 Benevolence Grants to Signallers (past, present and their dependants) for the period 1st January to 30th September 2021 in their time of need.

As a relatively small Charity, this would not have been possible without the invaluable support of the SSAFA caseworkers, who put the leg work in to ensuring that our Corps Family get the best possible outcome, whether that be through our own Corps Charity or in some cases another charity better suited for their needs.

A network of trained volunteers are at the heart of SSAFA’s work, providing practical and emotional support for serving personnel, veterans and military families across the UK and worldwide.

However, they are currently facing shortages and are in need of more volunteers.

All backgrounds and experiences are welcomed at SSAFA. They are simply looking for people who want to help others, are tolerant and open-minded. SSAFA welcome volunteers from a diversity of backgrounds and experiences. Armed Forces experience is definitely not a requirement!
